Waikato-Tainui is seeking a skilled leader to enhance iwi capability through effective Te Akura initiatives. You will oversee the design and implementation of programs while ensuring alignment with iwi aspirations. Your role will involve substantial stakeholder engagement, facilitating wānanga, and collaborating with experts to continuously improve initiatives based on community feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design powerful programs that reflect iwi values • Oversee project planning and delivery with marae and teams • Conduct stakeholder engagement through hui and workshops • Manage the evaluation and reporting of projects • Develop kaimahi associated with Te Akura programs
Requirements: • Proven experience in leadership and project management • Strong engagement skills with iwi and community organizations • Expertise in facilitating and presenting to diverse audiences • Understanding of Māori development priorities and tikanga • Relevant tertiary qualification in social sciences or management
