This full time position reports to the Director of Energy and Sustainability and includes responsibilities for the safe operation of instrumentation and control equipment at the Central Heating Plant. Your expertise in high-pressure steam plants and proficiency with systems like ABB DCS and Rockwell PLC will be vital. Additionally, you'll work under emergency conditions and assist in environmental monitoring and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair control system hardware and software
• Assist with environmental logging and calibration of equipment
• Develop and implement boiler control strategies
• Participate in construction projects and repairs
• Provide estimates for repair and construction work
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Industrial Instrument Mechanic certification essential
• Minimum of 6 years experience in steam plant operations
• Proficient in computer applications and technical interpretations
• Solid communication skills with specialists
• Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces
