Enhance your teaching skills as a Teaching Assistant in the Jazz Musicianship 1 Keyboard Lab at the M.A.Desautels Faculty of Music. This part time role focuses on enriching student experiences from September to December 2026.
You'll help in course delivery through material preparation, consultation, and assessment of student work. Regular attendance in instructional meetings and lectures is required, ensuring a cooperative approach to education. Your empathetic interaction with students will foster a supportive learning setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend course orientation and planning sessions
• Prepare instructional handouts and tests for classes
• Mark student assignments and provide feedback




• Schedule consultations with students for individualized support
• Participate in the adaptation of instructional materials as needed
Requirements:
• Completion of relevant academic qualifications
