This full time temporary role is open exclusively to Town of Oakville employees, requiring a minimum of three years in a public enforcement field. You will manage business licenses and ensure compliance with sign and noise regulations. Your expertise will be needed for guiding dispute processes and helping resolve issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage issuance and processing of business licenses • Provide guidance on licensing and permit inquiries • Coordinate administrative penalty hearings and notifications • Maintain and update departmental reports and accounts • Offer direct customer service to various stakeholders
Requirements: • Post-secondary diploma with relevant experience • Completion of Municipal Law Enforcement courses preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong problem-solving abilities • Familiarity with municipal legislation and by-laws
