The ideal candidate will perform diverse tasks including underground construction and rehabilitation. You'll be responsible for operating mining equipment and adhering to strict health and safety standards. Your contributions to maintenance and project preparation will support the entire mining process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate scoops and jackleg drills for tasks
• Conduct maintenance checks on machinery
• Follow secure work practices consistently
• Gather and prepare materials for projects
• Remove/install conveyor systems as necessary
Requirements:
• Background in construction or labor is required
• WHMIS training and a valid Driver’s license essential
• Robust mechanical and manual skills needed
• Physically fit for heavy and long-duration work
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
