DUTIES
Inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, overhaul and repair of various components of a variety of heavy duty trucks equipped with diesel engines and automatic or manual transmissions




Working from repair manuals, diagnostic equipment and online resources
Complete detailed, transparent and concise work orders

EXPECTATIONS
Must have a ‘Fix It Right First Time’ mentality
Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
Communicate with service advisor if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the agreed upon timeframe
Keep shop area neat, clean and secure and reports machinery defects or malfunctions

QUALIFICATIONS
Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician
Previous Daimler experience is preferred; Daimler certification is an asset
