Job Summary: To develop and supervise assigned programs to achieve the best use of equipment, human resources, technology, materials and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Required Education and Experience: The Quality Assurance Engineer must have College, University or recognized technical institute
Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in a related field.
Automotive experience preferred
Advance knowledge in computer software for windows
Good knowledge of GD&T;, math data analysis based on OEM Standard
Excellent English Communication Skills (oral and written)Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills
Familiar with IATF 16949 Quality Management System
Product and process knowledge of suspension, structural BIWThe Quality Assurance Engineer must have excellent attendance
Ability to travel outside of the country on short notice to visit customer/supplier locations
Ability to work efficiently with minimum and/or no supervision and directions
Ability to work in a team environment and to be a team player
Ability to maintain records in an organized and tidy manner
Support the Quality System, OHSMS, and Environmental Management System requirements
Essential Functions: Responsible for trouble shooting root cause analysis, SPC & CMM data analysis
Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) of assigned programs and ensuring all related documentations are up to date
Conduct capability studies and gauge R & R analysis
Familiar with vision, scanning, tools for measurements
Creating quality documents in compliance with the company''s quality system requirements
Coordinate and responsible for PPAP submissions within specified timeframe
To review and make recommendations for the disposition of non-conforming products
Assist in variability reduction, process improvement and continuous improvement related to critical characteristics
To notify internal and external customers of potential quality problems and make recommendations for resolution and improvement
Responsible for the successful project completion via participating in the resolution of issues such as conflicting design requirements, safety concerns, unsuitability of standard material and difficult coordination requirements
Managing assigned project activities and to facilitate participation of appropriate staff in project completion
Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system & initiate action and resolution to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity, stop production if necessary to correct quality problems
Control further processing, delivery or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected
Responsible for initiation of containment activities and development of containment method
Review and understand changes in CSRs and implement it.
Working Environment: Both office setting and production environment50% office, 50% plant floor (PPE required)Flexible hours as required
Physical Demands: Require communication with employees, peers, and management
Lifting and pushing as needed
Ability to work on computer for long periods of time
Health, Safety and Environment: Must work in accordance with health and safety regulations, company rules, plant rules, policies, and procedures
Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or certain clothing as required by the company.
