Asbestos and mold can pop-up anywhere and requires special knowledge and experience to deal with.

Remediation Technicians can perform remediation services while protecting the health and safety of workers and clients. (This posting reflects an existing vacancy) Compensation Salary Range: $23-$25/hour Overtime opportunities (where applicable) On-call premium and overtime paid for rotating coverage Benefits Extended health coverage (medical, dental, vision, etc.) Employee assistance program (EAP) Group RRSP, with company matching DPSP Life and disability insurance Opportunities for advancement and internal mobility What Youll Do Ensuring a safe work area from asbestos and mould by knowing how to remove and remediate potential dangers from the work site Identifying and disposing of asbestos and mould contaminated materials What You Bring 1-2+ years experience in asbestos/mould remediation Demolition and basic carpentry skills to build containment is a strong asset Ability to perform work following procedure and legislation Clean shaven face (if applicable) for every shift (for full mask fit) Willingness to wear full PPE as required for duration of shift Cleanliness of site, vehicle,



and tools Strong attention to detail and ability to follow scope of work Organized with a good sense of time youre rarely late and know where all your tools are Physically fit remediation can, at times, include heavy lifting (50+lbs) Comfortable in confined spaces Friendly and enjoys working in a team!
