We are a loving family in Westlock County, Alberta, seeking a reliable and caring nanny to join us.
This is a casual/part-time, live-out position that focuses on caring for our infant.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure our child''s safety and well-being while engaging them in age-appropriate activities.
Our son is 7.5 months old, crawls very quickly and loves to engage in play with others.
He loves to be taken on walks, play in the grass outside and is sufficiently busy! You would be responsible for ensuring he goes down for his naps and light snacks in between (provided).
Meals are not a requirement.
In addition to childcare, light housekeeping duties will also be part of your responsibilities.
We believe a clean and organized environment is essential for our child''s development.
Light cleaning tasks will be expected. (Toy clean up, vacuum if theres a mess made, wipe down surfaces as needed, ect).
However, should you choose to do more than required, we are happy to compensate the extra workload.
We also have pets in our home, so pet care will be a part of the role.
It is important that you are comfortable with animals (1 dog indoor cats) and can assist with feeding and walking them as needed.
We have 1 friendly and loving golden retriever, she is high-energy so needs outdoor exercise during the day.
This is not a must but taking her for walks is appreciated.
We require a nanny who is CPR certified to ensure the safety of our little one.
Infant choking recovery skills are a bonus.
If you are a nurturing individual with a passion for childcare and family support, we would love to hear from you.
Our family offers a competitive pay rate of $23 per hour.
