What we are hiring for: We are currently hiring a Full time Direct Support Professional for a float position across all of our support locations in Lambton County.

Direct Support Professionals make a difference in people''s lives by providing support to people with developmental disabilities in all activities of daily living in their homes and the community and by fostering independence and personal growth.

In conjunction with the person, their team and family/friends, Direct Support Professionals are responsible for planning and overseeing provision of support, along with creating skill development opportunities for people supported in aspiration to reach their life goals.

This float DSP position will have the opportunity to work with multiple teams and gain experience with varying support needs across different support locations.

We have locations in: Alvinston, Brigden, Corunna, Forest, Petrolia, Oil Springs, Watford and Wyoming.

What you will need: Valid ''G or G2'' class license and reliable vehicle

Be willing to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check

Be legally entitled to work in Canada

Current certification in First Aid/CPR required

Current certification in NVCPI or willing to obtain

Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is an asset





Be comfortable with providing personal care and attending to medical needs of individuals

Knowledge and experience supporting people with mental health/illness

Adaptable to varying complex support needs

Compensation and scheduling:$23.59 - $24.28 per hour based on experience

Regular full-time 40 hours per week including days, afternoons, weekends or nights Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday

Float position covering holidays and leaves of absence for multiple support locations
