Please feel free to share your updated resume at OR +1 (732) 737 8381 Job Title: Flight Control Systems IPT Head Location: Montreal, Canada Salary Range: CAD $110K $140K/Year Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Flight Control Systems IPT Head to lead FCS development and integration for advanced aircraft/eVTOL programs.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the Flight Control Systems (FCS) IPT and own scope, schedule, cost, quality, and technical delivery.

Define FCS architecture, including fly-by-wire/fly-by-light, actuation, sensors, and interfaces.

Lead control law development, flight dynamics, stability & control analysis, gain scheduling, and redundancy management.

Coordinate with Avionics, Software, Systems, Aerodynamics, Structures,



Integration, and V&V; teams.

Lead MIL, SIL, HIL, Iron Bird, ground, and flight testing.

Manage requirements, SRD, ICDs, simulation models, and certification deliverables.

Ensure compliance with ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-178C, and DO-254.

Drive FHA, FMEA, FTA, fault-tolerant, fail-safe, and redundant FCS architectures.

Support FAA/EASA certification, technical reviews, RFQs, proposals, and stakeholder management.

Lead distributed onsite/offshore engineering teams and manage technical risks and dependencies.

Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Aerospace, Control Systems, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

Robust experience in flight control systems, aircraft systems, control laws, systems integration, and aerospace certification.
