The ministry is seeking Crown Prosecutors to help deliver justice through fair, effective, and ethical prosecutions. Candidates should be comfortable working variable hours, including evenings and weekends when required, and be willing to travel, including overnight stays. Under the direction of a Regional Crown Prosecutor and Public Prosecutions Head Office, responsibilities include conducting criminal, quasi-criminal, and regulatory prosecutions in the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan and the Court of Kings Bench, managing docket court matters, trials, and summary conviction appeals, providing legal opinions, reviewing police reports, advising police, meeting with victims and witnesses, and supporting legal education initiatives related to criminal law, ethics, and the justice system.
