GEOLOGY TECHNICIAN Permanent position Position to fill 1 Code GEO26-06 The place of work is in Nunavik Deadline to apply September 14, 2026 The normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks of rest.

Responsibilities Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologists, the technician will primarily perform mapping, excavation monitoring, and grade control as well as structural surveys.
They will be responsible for: Assisting the supervisors in all the Companys operations.
Work in collaboration with the geologists for developing Companys underground mines and potentially open pits.
Perform the underground work routine.
Possibility of grade control in future open-pit mines.
Participate in targeted sampling campaigns.
Prepare samples for shipment to the mine laboratory.
Participate in mapping, data entry and data validation.
Assist in preparation and interpretation of assay results.
Perform any other tasks required by the supervisor in order to give a good assistance to the mine operations.
Qualifications The candidate should have a college diploma (DEC) in mining technology, geology option or equivalent; Have 0 to 2 years of qualified experience in mining geology or exploration.
Hold a valid driving license class 5; Good knowledge of the Microsoft Suite software.
