Technical Project Manager Azure Cloud Migration Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid Employment Type: Full time Permanent (FTE) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end Azure cloud migration and transformation programs .

The successful candidate will coordinate business and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable, compliant, and cost-effective cloud solutions while managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Azure cloud migration and transformation projects .

Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables .

Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure, applications, cloud, security, networking, operations, and vendors .

Drive cloud migration readiness assessments, planning, execution, cutover, and post-migration stabilization .

Establish and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, and governance processes.

Facilitate Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies based on program requirements.

Track project KPIs, milestones, financials, risks, and overall delivery performance.

Prepare and present executive-level status reports, dashboards, and project updates .

Ensure migration initiatives meet security, regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements .

Manage vendor relationships, deliverables, escalations, and third-party dependencies.

Support organizational change management,



user adoption, and stakeholder communications .

Identify delivery risks proactively and drive mitigation and resolution strategies.

Coordinate production cutovers and ensure business continuity throughout migration activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field . 5+ years of professional project management experience . 3+ years of experience managing Azure cloud migration, cloud transformation, or infrastructure modernization projects .

Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including: Azure Virtual Machines Azure Networking Azure Storage Microsoft Entra ID Azure Landing Zones Experience managing complex technical infrastructure and cloud transformation initiatives .

Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Waterfall delivery, and project governance .

Experience with project management and collaboration tools.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills .

Preferred Qualifications PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or other Agile/project management certification.

Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-900 .

Experience working in financial services, healthcare, banking, or other highly regulated environments .

Experience managing enterprise-scale cloud migration programs involving multiple business and technology teams.

Experience with cloud governance, security, compliance, and operational readiness.
