Job DetailsAgricorp is seeking a contract Senior Human Resources Consultant to join our Human Resources division to help deliver financial and risk management programs for Ontario’s agriculture sector.In This Role, You WillPartner with leaders to assess business needs and recommend effective HR solutions, including workforce planning, organizational design, and talent managementProvide expert advice to leaders and employees on a broad range of HR matters such as employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and learning and developmentBuild strong, trusted relationships across the organization to enable effective consultation and collaborationEnsure HR practices align with legislation, organizational values, and best practicesDevelop and recommend solutions for complex and sensitive employee relations matters, including discipline, investigations, attendance, and termination considerationsEscalate highly sensitive or high‑risk matters to the Director, Human Resources as appropriateProvide HR expertise to change management initiativesWork closely with internal partners (e.G., Communications, Finance, IT) to deliver integrated solutionsManage relationships and initiatives with external HR service providers and participate in vendor selection and RFP processes, as requiredJob status:12-month contract (posting is for an existing vacancy)Work status:Full time in‑officeSalary:$81,498 – 95,880Location:Guelph, OntarioQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field; specialized HR trainingor certification (e.G., organizational design, adult learning, employee engagement)
