As an Intermediate Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop manufacturing procedures, maintain shop documentation, and resolve any non-conformance issues that arise. This role involves supporting shop operations through equipment maintenance, tooling design, and interfacing with upper management.
You will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing efficiency and providing training to peers and shop employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain shop documentation and procedures
Resolve non-conformance issues with cross-functional teams
Plan shop activities and conduct time studies
Maintain tooling, gauges, and consumables databases
Design tooling and conduct strength analysis for equipment
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or related discipline
Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Statistical Process Control tools
Proficient in AutoCAD 2D or Solid Works 3D
