The SHA seeks an experienced Infectious Diseases Specialist for their temporary locum position. This role involves service delivery at the Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon City Hospital, and St Paul’s Hospital. You will work within a dedicated team addressing HIV, chronic viral hepatitis, TB, and transplant ID while participating in the Saskatchewan Infectious Disease Care Network.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical care for adult infectious diseases
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Engage in Infection Prevention and Control initiatives
Participate in Antimicrobial Stewardship programs
Support marginalized communities with HIV and Hep C care
Requirements:
Specialist degree in Infectious Diseases
Proven experience in adult ID management
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting
Commitment to community health improvement
Availability for locum assignment from January 2026
