We are presently recruiting for the role of Therapeutic Specialist, Vision Care Manitoba and Saskatchewan, reporting to our District Manager in Ontario and the Prairies for Vision Care.

The candidate will be based in Manitoba or Saskatchewan and will be responsible for managing and leading business development in some of our largest key customer accounts.

The product portfolio covers both Glaucoma and Dry Eye Disease.

The Therapeutic Specialist, Vision Care will be the face of Abb

Vie to identified Key Accounts to continue building on and developing the long-term customer relationships across the glaucoma and dry eye disease portfolios. ** This field-based position supports a territory spanning Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Candidates may be based in Saskatoon or Regina, Saskatchewan, or Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating relationships with existing customers and expanding awareness and use of focused Abb

Vie Vision Care products in Glaucoma and Dry Eye Disease within the territory.

The TS is responsible for managing sales at the customer and hospital level in accordance with approved marketing plans and company policies, to attain or exceed the sales targets for the assigned territory.

Essential skills and abilities include: a high degree of flexibility in adapting to change, interpersonal and client relationship skills and a positive solution-oriented thinking capability.

The TS is the customer expert and manager of the Abb





Vie commercial relationships with the External Experts.

The TS has and maintains a macro view of customer relationships and works cross-functionally within Abb

Vie to maximize sales results.

The TS works closely with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure internal team members understand and effectively execute against the customer strategy and sales expectations.

The TS acts in the best interests of Abb

Vie looking for areas of mutual interest to Abb

Vie and the Key Accounts.

The TS identifies predictive and responsive opportunities to co-develop solutions within the Key Accounts The TS proactively identifies challenges to effective customer interactions and ensures that the right internal processes are in place to overcome or mitigate them.

The TS is the core customer advocate within Abb

Vie (e.g. identifies customers issues, concerns and priorities) The TS builds deep and broad engagements within the Key Accounts organization and develops an understanding of their key priorities, structure and business environment to maximize sales Responsibilities: Responsible for developing trusting relationships with Key accounts and growing those relationships to ensure maximum share of the Glaucoma and Dry Eye Disease markets.

Vie Medical team and Abb

Vie Institutes Clinical Specialist in the field to optimize product knowledge and business training acumen.

Develop comprehensive and strategic business plans in order to increase market share in the glaucoma and dry eye product portfolio.

Conduct regular sales reviews of business territory performance externally and internally.

Execute national marketing programs collaborating with internal cross-functional teams.

Identify new collaboration & growth opportunities within existing Key Accounts, as well as identify current Key Accounts.

Proficiently manage overall budget & resource allocation for the territory.





Qualifications Education, Experience & Competencies Requirements: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Science or equivalent, or MBA combination of experience and education required. A minimum of 5 years of Sales and/or marketing/or head office operational experience.

Key Account Management experience valued.

Experience in Pharmaceutical/Medical Sales is required. A thorough understanding of the institutional/ Key Account healthcare sector preferred.

Demonstrated track record of achieving and/or exceeding business results.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Strong business acumen and self-starter.

Demonstrates leadership capabilities, listening and adaptability skills.

Strong presentation and communication skills.

Proven ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally within the company.

Ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders both with customers & internally.

Candidate must be fluent in English.

Both verbal and written.

Highly collaborative with a customer-centric mindset.

Able to travel up to 50% of the time.

Position requires evening/weekend work, including overnight travel.

Valid drivers license and passport.

Key in-Field Team Competencies: Ability to think strategically to support the development of a high-quality territory plan.

Display sound business judgment (having an executive leadership mindset to assess local market and set direction).

Ability to predict contingent outcomes from both a customer and competitive perspective.

In-depth analytical skills, to enable appropriate and optimal understanding of data, to assess dedicated business outcomes in the decision-making process and achieve strategic goals.

Effectively communicate and collaborate with in-field team members, to develop and maximize the integrated account plan.
