Must be familiar with the Canada Food Guide and ready to prepare meals according to special dietary needs.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Reliable and able to work all shifts.

Required Experience and Skills
Successful completion of secondary school or equivalency.
Completion of Culinary School is an asset and/or one year experience in volume cooking, preferably hospital setting.
Possession of or the ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate is an asset.
Knowledge of dietary department procedures.
Knowledge in the proper handling and storage of food and ability to follow the dietary sanitation code.
