We’re seeking a polished, experienced Bilingual Driver Trainer to deliver, assess, and coach driver training programs while supporting trainee development and performance.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver classroom and hands-on driver training using adult-learning techniques.
Coach, assess, and provide constructive feedback to trainees.
Conduct final evaluations and coaching sessions.
Maintain accurate attendance, schedules, observations, and training records.
Collaborate with driver trainers and field managers regarding trainee needs and operations.
Qualifications
Associate Degree OR High School Diploma/GED + 2 years of work experience.
1+ year of trucking industry driving experience.
Bilingual French & English – spoken and written.
DZ/Class 3 or higher preferred.
Required Skills
Solid presentation, facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Waste/trucking industry experience and prior supervisory/training experience strongly preferred.
Basic Microsoft Windows skills.
Preferred Skills
Significant: During the first 6 months, frequent travel to the U.S. will be required, with trips of up to 2 weeks at a time. Relocation assistance may be available for an ideal candidate.
