This role offers a unique blend of primary care and detox management for inpatients. You'll advantage from training provided by UBC clinical instructors, promoting board certification in addiction medicine while working in a collegial atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide primary care to patients and residents
Manage admissions and detox processes for inpatients
Collaborate with onsite psychiatry services
Offer virtual care to alumni of the center
Participate in flexible schedule and on-call as needed

Requirements:
Family medicine background with a focus on addictions
No prior addiction medicine experience necessary
ER or inpatient detox experience is beneficial
Willingness to learn and adapt to a new workplace
Hospital privileges in the Cowichan District are an asset
