Job Description: Performs a variety of analytical procedures, analysis and laboratory duties for the detection, diagnosis, prevention and management of disease and illness.

Education
e.g. Chemistry required in Chemistry, Microbiology in Microbiology, etc.
Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in defined science & required courses
Major dependent on specific specialty area:
BSC 4‑yr degree in Biochemistry or Biology; Medical Microbiology (similar to U of R Biology 303); or Environmental Biology (similar to U of R Biology 276 or 335)
