Support Indigenous family healing as a Relief Facilitator with Hull Services. This role involves cultural programming and trauma-informed care for families impacted by intergenerational trauma.
At Hull Services, we are dedicated to truth and reconciliation, providing critical mental health services for young people and families. The Relief Facilitator will work closely with experienced BTS Facilitators and Elders to enhance community connection and well-being through cultural and educational activities. You'll play a key role in promoting a safe, engaging workplace while assisting with group organization and administration.
Key Responsibilities: • Facilitate culturally specific programs that support Indigenous families • Create safe,
respectful spaces for all participants • Assist with group logistics like transportation and setup • Manage behavior with trauma-informed strategies • Carry out administrative tasks as required
Requirements: • Background in human services or social sciences • Experience working with Indigenous communities • Group facilitation experience • Flexibility for evenings and weekends • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
