Job Description
Competent clinical practitioner assisting individuals, groups and families with health-care needs ranging from uncomplicated to complex and rapidly changing status. Demonstrates a caring approach which reflects and incorporates expertise.
Experience
2 yrs exp in Acute Psych or Comm. Mental Health nursing or a combo of the two.
Exp in the last 5 years in psychiatric assessment & intervention required.
Exp in the last 5 yrs with acute and chronic psychiatric disorders.
Education
Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN).
Other Education and Training
Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable.
Nursing diploma is acceptable.
Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable.
Basic CPR, ASSIST preferred.
