Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a seasoned
Technology Integration Project Manager / Technical Project Lead
to support a large-scale integration initiative involving the integration of a recently acquired organization into the broader enterprise technology environment.
This is a highly complex, vendor-heavy program involving approximately
15–20 technology vendors . The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating planning, delivery, dependencies, issues and communications across multiple technical workstreams and vendors.
The role is less focused on investment-management application functionality and more focused on
technology integration, infrastructure, cloud, security and enterprise connectivity .
Key Responsibilities
Lead technology integration activities across multiple vendors and technical workstreams.
Coordinate approximately 15–20 external technology vendors and internal stakeholders.
Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones and dependencies.
Manage vendor onboarding, communications, deliverables and interdependencies.
Coordinate technical requirements and scope across vendors and internal technology teams.
Track risks, issues, assumptions, decisions and dependencies through to resolution.
Support integration activities involving:
Cloud migration
Single Sign-On (SSO)
Identity and access management
Information security
Application migration
Network and connectivity
Work closely with technical development partners, including system integrators and consulting firms.
Facilitate project meetings, steering updates and working sessions.
Ensure technical deliverables remain aligned to the overall integration roadmap.
Escalate delivery risks and blockers appropriately.
Partner with business and technology leadership to drive the program through key milestones.
Ensure vendor deliverables are completed on schedule and meet agreed requirements.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in technology project/program management.
Proven experience managing
large-scale technology integration initiatives .
Strong experience coordinating multiple
vendors and third-party technology partners.
Experience with
enterprise infrastructure and technology delivery.
Demonstrated experience with some combination of:
Cloud migration
SSO / identity integration
Infrastructure integration
Information security
Desktop / end-user technology
Application migration
Enterprise systems integration
Strong project planning, scheduling, dependency and issue-management capabilities.
Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
Ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed enterprise environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and executive stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Investment management or asset management technology experience.
Experience integrating
acquired organizations into large enterprise environments - M&A;
Experience working with Deloitte or other major systems integrators.
PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification.
Experience working within highly regulated environments.
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a
senior, hands-on technology PM
who can take ownership of a complex integration workstream, coordinate numerous vendors, understand technical dependencies and drive execution without requiring significant oversight.
Someone with investment-management experience is preferred, but candidates with strong financial-services and enterprise technology integration backgrounds will also be considered.
