George Gordon First Nation seeks a dedicated Family Support Youth Worker to facilitate individual and group sessions. This position involves planning and delivering programs aimed at supporting youth and preventing care placements. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct engaging individual and group sessions for youth • Plan and coordinate ongoing Prevention Programs • Develop and evaluate support services tailored to youth • Teach and mentor youth on information sharing and problem-solving • Assist with daily living tasks and community access
Requirements: • Completed at least some post-secondary education • Solid background in youth support and program delivery • Knowledge of community resources and youth needs • Ability to foster positive relationships and respect boundaries • Experience in documenting reports and activities
