Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
Maintain, troubleshoot, and program PLCs, drives, and automated control systems
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings
Support equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support operational goals
Follow all health and safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout protocols
Qualifications




Valid Ontario Electrical Trade Certification:
Industrial Electrician (442A) and/or
Construction & Maintenance Electrician (309A)
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Experience with PLCs, automation systems, industrial controls, and drives
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with automated manufacturing or packaging equipment
High-voltage or power distribution experience
CMMS experience
Forklift, Crane/Rigging, WHMIS, Working at Heights, Confined Space, or First Aid/CPR certifications
Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), or Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) experience
Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies
Gas Technician 1 (G.1) certification
Working Conditions
Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment
Physically active role involving standing, climbing, lifting, and confined space work
Overtime and additional shift coverage may be required
