is a strategic partner to all key
Incubator
teams:
Brand ,
Creative ,
Sales
Planning , and
Online . They are responsible for the
financial health
and and
growth planning
of DECIEM’s emerging brands and
global innovation pipeline . It is highly cross-functional. You will directly be on the ground, making decisions on how to
plan
and
grow
our
emerging brands . How do we
ensure financial stability ? How do we
grow thoughtfully ? How do we
invest in the right channels ? This role blends
rigorous financial control
with
entrepreneurial spirit , requiring the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. PAY RANGE
The anticipated base salary for this position is
$100,000
to
$110,000 . Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
Be a key thought partner for Brand, Creative, Online, and Planning in building out a financial plan that shepherds the growth of our Incubator brands. Work directly with Brand & Creative teams in planning production and budget allocation Be see as a key point of contact in any commercial decision for Incubator Help establish a healthy business model for each Incubator brand Help track weekly sales reports so that teams are aware of progress Partner with Regions, Global Brand, and Incubator teams to review Year-to-Date (YTD) spending versus Plan. Improve, maintain, and develop spending trackers specifically tailored for incubator brand launches. Reconcile Purchase Orders (POs) in D365 against internal trackers to validate the accuracy of accruals. Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the Global Incubator portfolio and Provide a monthly rollup of the forecast as part of the monthly financial Latest Estimate (LE) process. Analyze variances of forecasts against Actuals and Budgets, providing management with clear reasons for discrepancies. Partner with Product Development teams to calculate the profitability of new innovations. Oversee the full financial lifecycle of new launches, including obtaining pricing approvals and ensuring setup in D365. Conduct post-launch reviews with senior leadership to provide visibility on the total costs to launch and realized ROI. Create and automate financial reporting processes to find efficiencies in the incubator model. Perform controls on a timely basis and retain appropriate evidence (calculations, sign-offs) for SOX compliance. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
3-5 years of experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment is a must; CPG/Retail preferred Relevant education in Finance & Accounting (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) or another relevant field OR equivalent work experience is an asset Strong accounting and revenue management knowledge with extensive experience handling trade/marketing spend Strong experience with identifying system & process improvements and the documentation of such Experience with ERP implementations (D365 preferred) and process improvement documentation. Passion for innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship Comfortable in a rapid,
