Become a key player at Everguard Fire Equipment Inc. as an Experienced Fire Alarm Technician in Prince George. This full time position focuses on servicing, maintaining, and programming fire alarm systems.
You will play a critical role in ensuring fire safety through the proper installation, testing, and maintenance of alarm systems. The technician will evaluate customer requests and develop tailored solutions while mentoring newer team members. Your problem-solving skills will shine as you tackle a variety of challenges in the field and ensure compliance with fire regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install fire alarm systems and monitor performance • Conduct system inspections and maintenance tasks • Evaluate plans and customer requirements for solutions • Prepare stock for work orders and project proposals • Maintain safety practices and standards in all tasks
Requirements: • 2+ years’ experience in field service of fire alarms • Relevant educational background in Fire Protection Technology • Valid driver's license required for travel • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities • Commitment to ongoing learning and development
