This critical role on Pomerleau's health and safety team involves overseeing safety protocols for large-scale construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to $1 billion. You will work alongside project Superintendents and the Health & Safety Manager to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance. The position requires active participation in site activities and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:



• Ensure adherence to project safety standards • Participate in the development of prevention programs • Monitor implementation of safety procedures • Inspect and identify hazardous work situations • Investigate accidents and prepare corresponding reports

Requirements: • Post-secondary education in health and safety preferred • CNESST certification or equivalent required • At least 3 years of construction industry safety experience • Demonstrated knowledge of large construction project safety
