Tandem is recruiting for a FULL POSITION as a STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience to support our client's projects in our WINDSOR, ON LOCATION .

Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, emphasis on structures
Valid P.Eng designation in Ontario (required)
5-7 years of practical experience
Experience in the automotive industry
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Software including Project
AutoCAD required
Highly motivated,



with superb interpersonal and leadership skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and the ability to speak multiple languages are considered an asset
Familiar with Canadian and American Structural Engineering design standards and codes
Ability to think methodically, to design, plan and manage projects
Ability to maintain an overview of entire projects while continuing to attend to detailed technicalities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures
Experience with Automotive and conveyor structural design projects

Proficiency in one of the following software:
Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Qualified
Autodesk Advance Steel detailing
SAP 2000
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Salary is based on experience
