On behalf of our client, Robert Half is looking for a seasoned Project Manager to oversee an enterprise systems initiative.
This position will be responsible for driving planning, coordination, governance, and execution across several concurrent workstreams. The Project Manager will work with internal business leaders, technical teams, external vendors, and implementation partners to keep projects moving, resolve issues, manage dependencies, and ensure leadership has clear visibility into progress.
The initial contract term is 12 months and is open to candidates across BC. There will be ocasional travel required in the province for key meetings.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own project delivery across a major enterprise application implementation and related technology initiatives
Build and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and delivery schedules
Coordinate activities across business teams, technical resources, vendors, and external implementation partners
Lead working sessions to understand existing processes and support the design of future-state workflows
Track project risks, issues, actions, decisions, and dependencies, ensuring appropriate follow-up and escalation
Support testing, readiness, deployment, and go-live planning
Manage additional initiatives across areas such as infrastructure, information security, data, and internal systems
Translate business and technical inputs into clear plans,
priorities, and deliverables
Prepare concise status updates, dashboards, executive reporting, and steering committee materials
Facilitate governance meetings and provide leadership with clear information to support decision-making
Maintain organized and current project documentation in shared repositories
Help strengthen project delivery standards, tools, and processes across the technology function
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience managing complex technology or business transformation projects
Previous involvement in a full lifecycle ERP or enterprise systems implementation
Experience coordinating third-party vendors, consultants, or systems integrators
Exposure to projects involving finance, accounting, or financial management processes
Solid stakeholder management skills across both business and technical groups
Ability to manage several projects or workstreams at the same time
Excellent organization, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable presenting project information to senior leadership and governance groups
Practical understanding of project management frameworks and delivery methodologies
Experience in regulated, financial, professional services, or similarly complex environments would be an asset
PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or comparable certifications are beneficial but not required
