Become a Pool Operator for the Town of Ajax, where you’ll oversee daily pool operations and ensure a safe and clean environment. This role involves water quality maintenance and general facility upkeep.

In this regular position, you will report to the Facility Manager and be responsible for maintaining indoor swimming pools, supervising part-time custodial staff, and ensuring the security of the facility. Responsibilities also include daily cleaning, trouble shooting at the splash pad, and performing general repairs. Your skills in customer service and teamwork will enhance the pool setting.

Key Responsibilities: • Maintain pool water quality and perform chemical adjustments • Supervise custodial staff for cleanliness and safety • Complete required logs and ensure facility security • Undertake general repairs and maintenance tasks • Manage daily cleaning and set up for events

Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Minimum 1 year pool facility experience • NSPF Certified Pool Operator certification • Valid Class 'G' Ontario driver’s licence • Current First Aid and CPR certification
