Job Title: Class 1 Long Haul Driver
Location: Halifax, NS
Shift/Hours: Full time, ongoing schedule
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience

The Class 1 Long Haul Driver will complete scheduled dry van runs throughout Canada and the United States. This role is suited for an experienced, safety-focused driver who is comfortable with cross-border transportation, long-haul routes, accurate documentation, and regular communication with dispatch and operations teams.

This position offers steady year-round work, consistent routes, and support from an experienced transportation team.

Responsibilities:

- Complete scheduled dry van runs throughout Canada and the United States
- Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in accordance with transportation regulations
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams




- Ensure freight is transported safely and efficiently
- Complete routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Follow company safety procedures and transportation requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Valid Class 1 driver's licence required
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class 1 driving experience
- Clean criminal record required
- Clean driver's abstract required
- FAST Card considered a strong asset
- Previous cross-border or long-haul driving experience considered an asset
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage long-haul schedules
- Able to communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations teams
