Occupational Health Nurse (RN or RPN)
On-Site | Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) | Monday to Friday

We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) to join a dynamic team. This role plays a critical part in supporting employee health, safety, and overall workplace well-being.

As the on-site clinical lead, you will be responsible for delivering occupational health services, supporting injury and illness management, and partnering with Health & Safety and operational teams to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Provide first aid, emergency response, and clinical care for workplace injuries and illnesses
Conduct follow-up assessments and monitor recovery progress
Deliver health surveillance programs including vision, hearing, and functional assessments
Maintain accurate, confidential medical records

Lead case management for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
Develop and coordinate modified work and return-to-work plans
Collaborate with healthcare providers, employees, and internal teams to support recovery
Monitor trends and recommend injury prevention strategies

Support workplace wellness initiatives and health programs
Partner with Health & Safety to promote early intervention and risk reduction
Track and report on occupational health metrics and trends

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)



in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience; experience in occupational health nursing is preferred
Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN-C) considered an asset
Current First Aid certification including CPR/AED required
Experience in accommodation and case management
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including WSIA, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Human Rights legislation, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), Employment Equity Act, and Duty to Accommodate
