Lead public health initiatives as the Public Health Lead for Home and Community Care in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Optimize health service delivery while engaging communities and enhancing client care.

Reporting to the HCC Nurse Manager, this role involves coordinating nursing services and implementing public health programs tailored to the needs of KO communities. You will work collaboratively with health care professionals and Personal Support Workers to ensure effective service and advocacy for healthy public policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and develop nursing programs for communities
- Function as a primary resource for health education
- Advocate for healthy policies and community health strategies
- Participate in local health planning and initiatives
- Oversee and train Personal Support Workers on HCC protocols

Requirements:

- Registered Nurse certification in valuable standing
- Minimum 2 years of full-time clinical experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Advanced Foot Care certification required
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
