The Used Car Depot is looking for an experienced, motivated Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team in Saint John.

We are an established independent used-vehicle dealership with a strong local presence and a large selection of quality pre-owned cars, trucks and SUVs.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys dealing with people and knows how to turn inquiries into sales without high-pressure tactics.

The ideal candidate is:

- Personable, professional and dependable
- Comfortable working with customers in person, by phone, text and online
- Motivated by commission and individual performance
- Able to follow up consistently with leads
- Organized and capable of managing multiple customers
- Comfortable using computers and dealership/CRM systems




- Able to work independently as part of a small team

Previous automotive sales experience is an asset, but we will consider someone with strong sales experience from another industry who has the right personality and work ethic.

The Position

You will work directly with customers from their initial inquiry through vehicle selection and purchase. Responsibilities include responding to leads, showing vehicles, arranging test drives, following up with prospects, maintaining customer relationships and generating repeat and referral business.

This is a sales position for someone who wants their income tied to their results. A strong salesperson should be comfortable with an annual income in the $70,000–$100,000
