Position: Senior SAP Financial Data Analyst
Location: Oshawa (Hybrid)
Structure: Contract 24 months to start
Pay: $90.00 - $100.00 p/h inc.

Deliverables

- Analyze financial and operational data from multiple sources to identify trends, anomalies, risks, opportunities, and key performance drivers that support Finance decision-making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, visualizations, and management reporting using Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and enterprise financial data to provide stakeholders with clear and actionable insights.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial planning, and performance management, partnering directly with Finance and business stakeholders to understand analytical and reporting requirements.
- Improve data quality, reporting consistency, and Finance processes by validating and reconciling data, working with large datasets and multiple business systems, and collaborating across Finance, Data, and business teams to improve access to trusted information.

Experience Required

- Experience as a Financial Data Analyst, Finance Analyst, Business/Data Analyst, or Finance Analytics professional,



with demonstrated experience analyzing financial and operational information to support business decision-making.
- Strong hands-on proficiency with Excel and SQL, including collecting, cleaning, validating, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets from multiple systems and data sources.
- Experience developing business-facing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and/or Tableau, with the ability to clearly communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, planning, and performance metrics, with knowledge of Finance/Accounting practices strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field; experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SAC/BDC, Anaplan, Python/R, data governance, and process improvement is considered highly desirable.
