Description The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run.
This year’s event will be taking place on Sunday, October 4th, 2026.
Join our Welcome and Guest Experience team and help create a warm, organized and positive experience from the moment participants arrive!
Tasks for this role may include:
- Welcome participants and guests as they arrive on Run Day
- Support participant check-in and registration
- Help distribute Run for the Cure T-shirts by colour and size
- Answer general questions about Run Day
- Help manage registration lines and keep participant areas organized
- Direct participants to registration, T-shirt pick-up and other key event areas
- Receive donations when required
- Help make sure every participant feels welcomed and supported
- Specific assignments may include Registration, T-Shirt Distribution or Information & Welcome support
- Should be comfortable lifting at least 10 lbs if assigned to T-Shirt Distribution
- Must be 19+
- Bring a friendly, positive and welcoming attitude and be ready to help create a great Run Day experience!
