We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant & Tax Consultant to join our financial team. Duties

- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports using accounting software such as QuickBooks, and other relevant tools.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Conduct account reconciliations regularly to verify accuracy across various ledgers and bank statements.
- Perform detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement.
- Assist with auditing procedures by preparing documentation and supporting audit activities for internal or external reviews.
- Provide expert advice on tax planning, compliance, and filing strategies for individuals and businesses.
- Support budgeting activities by preparing forecasts, monitoring expenses, and analyzing variances.




- Handle payroll processing accurately while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Offer investment analysis insights to help clients optimize their financial portfolios.
- Maintain meticulous bookkeeping records to support ongoing financial operations and reporting.

Skills

- Proficiency in preparing T2's, T1's, self-employed tax returns, and other relevant returns.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Taxcycle, and other relevant platforms.
- Strong analysis skills to interpret complex financial data effectively.
- Solid understanding of auditing processes and compliance standards within financial services.
- Experience with accounts payable management and account reconciliation procedures.
- Knowledge of payroll processing, budgeting techniques, and investment fundamentals.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to clients or team members.
