Responsibilities
- Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and electrical/mechanical knowledge
- Perform repairs on various appliances including washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and HVAC systems as needed
- Test repaired appliances to ensure proper functioning before returning them to customers
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all repair activities
- Assist in assembling or installing new appliances when required
Requirements
- Proven electrical experience with the ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to appliance components and systems
- Experience in appliance repair or related technical fields such as HVAC or electronics
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Basic assembly skills for installing or replacing appliance parts or units
- Ability to troubleshoot using schematics and technical manuals efficiently
- Prior experience working with HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory
