WR Paving is looking to hire a labourer and raker for our paving crew. We are a small, growing company that has operated in the Calgary area for 15 years. We provide gravel, asphalt, and concrete services to Municipalities, General Contractors, and Developers in our community and surrounding areas.
Job duties and responsibilities
- Assist the crews with labourer duties
- Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labour
- Understand issues involving ground disturbance and implementing safe work practices
- Comply with all safety policies and participate in any training WR Paving deems necessary for the position
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Labourers and Rakers will be taught to operate heavy equipment including rollers and skid steers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in road construction is an asset, but any construction experience
- Ability to work continuously for prolonged periods of time is required
- Must be available to work weekdays and weekends
- Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle to commute to job sites
Job Types: Full time, Seasonal Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Experience:
- Construction: 1 year (preferred)

- Class 5 Driver Licence (required)
