or Programming and Community Engagement Supervisor, in the case of the Bookmobile, the Assistant Branch Supervisor assists with ensuring the smooth operation of the Library Branches. This is achieved through customer service, circulation functions, coordination of Branch programming, direct implementation of programs, and community outreach.

The incumbent assists the Supervisor as needed, and in the absence of the Supervisor, undertakes supervisory duties. Two-year post-secondary diploma in Library Sciences or a related field One year of previous experience in a unionized library, including working with children and adults Advanced computer skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Excellent writing skills, including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation Ability to identify issues and implement creative and strategic solutions to overcome problems Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret goals, objectives, and policies Current First Aid/CPR certification is considered an asset Competitive Salary: $36.74 to $43.22 per hour Vacation pay OMERS pension with equal employer match Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP) Your Career, Our Community: Let’s build a Welcoming and Sustainable Bruce County Together!
