Summary

Reporting to the Manager Parks & Facilities, the incumbent will assist and help with the ice resurfacing operator, janitorial duties and respond to public requests at the St.

Isidore Recreation

Center.

Main Responsibilities

- Fill the Zamboni with water;
- Remove and replace the hockey nets on the ice;
- Check and clean players benches;
- Clean players’ locker rooms including emptying, sweeping and mopping floors;
- Wash windows, clean bathroom;
- Assist the operator with room set-up;
- Disinfect and clean surfaces frequently touched by the public;
- Able to work evenings and weekends;
- Able to work independently and follow directions;
- Able to work with the public;
- Perform all other duties related to this position;

Qualifications And Requirements

Education

- High school diploma or current student (minimum 10th grade)

Specific Knowledge

- Bilingual;
- General knowledge of cleaning products (WHMIS);

Hours

- 6 to 20 hours a week
- Evenings and weekends

Compensation

- Pay Rate: $18.83/hour
