Empirical Auto Care is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician or experienced 3rd or 4th Year Automotive Apprentice to join our team.

We’re not looking for someone who simply wants to turn wrenches and punch a clock.

We’re looking for someone who brings experience, a great attitude, pride in their work, and a genuine desire to give the automotive trade the good, honest name it deserves.

COMPENSATION

$25.00–$45.00 PER HOUR

Your experience and skill matter to us. Wages are negotiable and based on experience, qualifications, diagnostic ability and overall skill level. We believe in paying people what they’re worth and recognizing the value that great technicians bring to our team.

Wage will be based on experience, skill level, diagnostic ability, productivity and qualifications.

Whether you're an experienced Red Seal technician or a motivated 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice looking to continue developing your skills, we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU BRINGFor Experienced Technicians

- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience diagnosing and repairing steering & suspension systems
- Solid experience with brake diagnosis and replacement
- Experience performing regular maintenance and service work
- Ability to accurately inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle concerns
- A commitment to quality workmanship and doing the job right the first time
- A clean, valid driver's licence
- Ability to confidently operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Pride in your trade and the work you put your name behind

For 3rd & 4th Year Apprentices





- Currently enrolled in an Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship
- Solid foundation of automotive repair and maintenance knowledge
- A willingness to learn and continue developing your skills
- Ability to follow proper repair procedures and safety practices
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Pride in your workmanship
- A clean, valid driver's licence
- A genuine desire to build a long-term career in the automotive trade

4-DAY WORK WEEK — IF YOU WANT IT

Prefer a longer workday in exchange for more time off?

Our optional 4-day work week allows you to work 10-hour days and enjoy an extra day off every week.

EXTENDED LONG WEEKENDS

We believe long weekends should actually be LONG.

When a statutory holiday falls on a Monday, we take the Friday off too!

That's a FOUR-DAY WEEKEND to spend with family, friends, camping, travelling, or doing absolutely nothing.

NO WEEKENDS. EVER.

We are a Monday–Friday facility.

Our shop operates 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, giving you your evenings and weekends back.

ONE-WEEK CHRISTMAS CLOSURE

Christmas is about family.

We close for one full week over Christmas so our team can step away from the shop, recharge and spend meaningful time with the people who matter most.
