Robertson Automotive is a family owned and operated, fully licensed AMVIC auto shop in the heart of Cochrane. Our mission is to provide quality, affordable automotive services with excellent customer service.
We are looking to add a full-time, experienced and reliable Red Seal Automotive Technician to our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues, providing excellent customer service, and must have a great work ethic and can-do attitude.
Duties
- Perform various tasks related to automotive repair and maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations / replacements, fluid flushes, alignments, brake replacement, and steering and suspension work.
- Carry out diagnostic procedures to identify the sources of faults.
- Conduct pre-purchase and insurance inspections.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Maintain accurate and legible records of work carried out.
- Out of Province certification would be an asset.
- Provide training and guidance for apprentices when required.
- Explain automotive repairs and issues to customers.
- Other duties as needed.
Successful candidates must possess:
- Valid Red Seal automotive service technician certification.
- A valid AB driving license and provide a clean driver's abstract.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- The ability to work on your own or as part of the team.
