Part-Time Babysitter/Nanny – Before & After School Care

Overview

I’m looking for a caring, dependable babysitter/nanny for my two daughters, ages 4 years and 18 months. This position is ideal for someone comfortable with early mornings, a rotating weekday schedule, and driving children to and from school and daycare.

A valid driver’s licence, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle are required. Two appropriate car seats will be provided.

Pay & Schedule

Pay is $20 per hour, paid in cash, with minimum payments for each shift:

- Morning: 6:00–7:30 a.m., with a guaranteed minimum of 2 hours’ pay ($40).
- Afternoon: Approximately 4:30–7:00 p.m (8pm)
- I work rotating shifts, so care is not required every weekday. Some days will require both morning and afternoon care, while others will require only one shift. No weekends are required.

Your schedule will be provided one month in advance through the Cubbily app.

Responsibilities

- Help the girls with their morning routine, including breakfast, getting dressed, and gathering their belongings. Drive them to school and daycare in the morning.



Pick them up from school and daycare in the afternoon and provide care in my home. Prepare simple meals and snacks as needed. Assist with diaper changes and other age-appropriate care. Keep the girls safe and engaged through play, reading, and other activities. Tidy up after meals and activities. No general housekeeping is expected. Communicate with me about how their day went and any concerns.

I will have clothing and school/daycare belongings prepared in advance to help mornings run smoothly.

Qualifications

- Reliable, punctual, patient, and caring. Experience caring for toddlers and young children. Valid driver’s licence, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle. Comfortable safely transporting two young children. Able to provide childcare references. First aid and CPR certification preferred.
