Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked products, including cakes, bread, pastries, and cookies, following established recipes and quality standards
- Decorate cakes and desserts with precision, incorporating cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing treats
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling baked goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and handling protocols at all times
- Package baked items efficiently for sale or delivery while ensuring presentation quality
- Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple baking stations and ensuring timely production
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about baked goods and offering recommendations when needed

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a bakery,



restaurant, or food service setting is mandatory a minimum of 8 years preferred; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Skills in cake decorating, food preparation, cooking techniques, and general baking methods
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for presentation and quality control
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer interaction
- Familiarity with food industry regulations related to food safety and packaging is a plus
