Duties
- Install a wide range of window treatments utilizing hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, levels, and saws
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or installation instructions to guide each project
- Securely mount brackets, tracks, and hardware with precision to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal
- Adjust and fine-tune installed products for optimal operation and appearance
- Measure window openings accurately using tape measures and schematics to ensure perfect fitment of blinds or shades
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations on product selection and placement
- Maintain a clean work area during and after installations, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience with hand tools and basic construction techniques
- Ability to read order sheet, schematics, or technical drawings effectively
- Familiarity with installation procedures
- Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites and tool handling
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise measurements and adjustments
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments including residential and commercial settings
