Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our agile team in a fast-paced restaurant workplace. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and will be responsible for ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. As a Server, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food and beverage service while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Duties

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, Gustav uses Digital dining.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all orders are correct and meet quality standards.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to enhance the dining experience, including upselling menu items.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns or special requests.




- Uphold excellent guest services by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.

Skills

- Proven experience in the food service industry, with restaurant experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Digital dining, is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $17.60 per hour
